Is there so much more enthusiasm for Sarah Palin among the GOP base than for John McCain, that a write-in campaign could bubble up? As a prescient blogger and Palin admirer at Carefulthought.com posted several months ago, Palin, as veep, would “overshadow” McCain. And it appears that she has. Apparently there are some folks out there who would rather have Palin on the top of the ticket than McCain, and they are trying to get a write-in campaign off the ground.

Thanks for the link, but I think the write-in Palin folks are way premature. I think she has the cred to be a respectable VP candidate, but I’d like to see her in action before I take that step.

NICE TRY! I think most folks though loving Gov. Sarah do realize that writing in Palin for President is a vote AGAINST McCain.

Absolutely. Conservatives, republicans and reformers would be better served by leaving her as the VP selection. See how she pans out in office and then let her run in 2012.
